TERMINAL 26, A THAI STREET FOOD CONCEPT INSPIRED BY FLOATING MARKETS IN THAILAND, IS NOW OPEN AT PONCE CITY MARKET

Located on the Ground Floor of the Central Food Hall, New Restaurant Offers Traditional & Reimagined Thai Dishes, Raw Oysters, Fresh Seafood & a Craft Cocktail Bar

ATLANTA, GA (June 9, 2026) –– Terminal 26 , a Thai street food restaurant inspired by the country’s iconic floating markets, is now open on the ground floor of Atlanta's Ponce City Market ’s Central Food Hall. The new concept is from sisters Niki and Tanya Pattharakositkul, who were born and raised in Thailand and are also behind Atlanta-area Thai restaurants 26 Thai and Pink Lotus , and Blackjack Bar Tapas – a restaurant serving craft cocktails and Asian tapas.

Open daily for lunch and dinner service, Terminal 26 offers traditional and reimagined Thai seafood dishes from Niki, an entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in the Thai culinary world. Her love of eating, exploring and sharing the flavors of her homeland has fueled years of hands-on work – from running her own restaurants to traveling across Thailand and the world in search of memorable dishes. Niki is on a mission to bring more people the experience of the depth, vibrancy and creativity of Thai cuisine. Through her reimagination of “street food on water,” Terminal 26 brings the energy of Thailand’s floating markets into a fresh, modern “waterfront” setting.

The menu offers bold, craveable dishes including:

* Crispy Oyster Pancake – fried seafood & egg, battered in flour.

* Floating Market Red Curry – Thai red curry, Thai basil, eggplant, winter melon & jasmine rice.

* Spicy Mango Salad – mixed greens, mango, grape tomatoes, carrots, peanuts, shallots, mint & chili-lime vinaigrette.

* Tamarind Snapper – deep-fried whole fillet, Thai herb salad, jasmine rice & chili-lime dressing.

* Chicken Khao Soi Roti Wrap – fried chicken thigh, mixed greens, egg omelette, sweet chili sauce, roti & khao soi curry.

* Khao Soi Noodles – coconut yellow curry, egg noodles, crispy noodles, pickled mustard greens & shallots. Choice of chicken or tofu.

* Street Shrimp Pot – shrimp, glass noodles, soy sauce, ginger & Thai herbs.

For dessert, guests can look for Coconut Custard Pudding (Khanom Tuay) – steamed coconut milk custard or Mango Sticky Rice – sweet coconut sticky rice, fresh mango & coconut cream.

On the beverage side, guests can expect an extensive selection of wine and beer alongside floating market-inspired craft cocktails, plus a unique frozen Singha slushie known as “jelly beer” in Thailand.

Designed by Thai-based architects, Terminal 26’s ambiance draws inspiration from the country’s celebrated floating markets, echoing the feeling of dining aboard a boat drifting along a Thai river. The restaurant features a reflective table evoking a flowing river in the center of the space, with fishing net hanging from the ceiling and an illusion of falling water along the walls. Fresh seafood is on display, and a glass window gives guests a view as chefs prepare dishes.

Terminal 26 is an idea brought to life by both sisters and encapsulates the spirit of Thailand that they both cherish. Both Niki and Tanya moved to the U.S. for college, with Tanya studying engineering at Georgia Tech and Niki earning a marketing degree with honors at Georgia State University. Niki always dreamed of opening a restaurant, and after attending culinary school in Thailand to master the cuisine, she opened the first location of 26 Thai Kitchen and Bar in Buckhead’s Lindbergh neighborhood in 2016. Tanya later joined her sister in the business as co-owner and COO of the concept.
